Santhosh Travel Service, the one and only travel agency in Malappuram district was started back in 1975, by the enterprising entrepreuner Sri C. Usman. Initially the operations were limited to Passport arrangements, Ticket arrangements and all type of Travel assistance. In 1981, the professional quality delivered by Santhosh Travel Service got the approval of the Ministry of Labour & Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Govt. of India, thereby becoming the first recruiting agency in Malappuram District with a Wakla recognition. The recognition meant that, it can apply for passports directly, make all arrangements in connection with it and even delivering them to its clients directly.
In 1992 Santhosh Travel Service got the accreditation from the International Air Transport Association (IATA)-The first travel agency in the district to get this privileged status. By this accreditation Santhosh Travel Service got the facility to book air tickets for any domestic and international flight and that through any airline service. Presently it has got direct access to all the airlines. In 2002, Santhosh Travel Service got the necessary authentication for stamping visas for Saudi Arabia and also got the ID card for Saudi visa servicing.
In 2003, Santhosh Travel Service started itsHaj division-Al Jamiah Haj Group-to cater exclusively for the Haj pilgrims. The Haj Services offered by Santhosh Travel Service, is in great demand. One of the unique features of Al Jamiah Haj Group is that the stay for the pilgrims has been arranged in close vicinity to the the pilgrim centres. By delivering efficient service at a lightning speed Santhosh Travel Service gained the trust of its customers and within a short span of time, came to be viewed by its customers as a dependable and trusted professional travel agent. Sri Usman set high standards in delivering quality service to match the best in the industry. Now Santhosh Travel Services has got branches in the main metros and a few contact points overseas. It has got a separate division - Santhosh Air Travels Pvt.Ltd., to cater exclusively for the air travellers.
